UN:DETECTABLE

UN:DETECTABLE approached us at a time of rapid growth. Their events were pulling bigger crowds, and new members were joining. But their brand was half-baked. We worked together to crystallize their story, goals, and design language.

Directives

Inspired by science fiction and Lovecraftian dystopia, we decided to create a story-forward brand. We imagined UN:DETECTABLE as an insurgent secret society, whose members operate in the shadows. Key directives guide the collective’s ethos. And concrete goals of safety and culture shift play a key role in the brand.

Visual Motifs

UN:DETECTABLE works within and against a techno-surveillance state, hijacking the online channels of mainstream culture to broadcast its message. Everything lives through screens, compression, and distortion, creating the right amount of distance between UN:DETECTABLE and their audience.

Logo

The UN:DETECTABLE logo, based on Bürodestruct’s BD Doomed (1998), forces viewers to look closely to decode the message. Its hexagonal, cyber vibe nods to a digital dystopia, tying into the storyline.

Merch

A tshirt with a 12x14” screen printed image is boring. We wanted to break out of that box and use all-over sublimation printing to make merch with memory.

Social

A range of branded social media templates makes it easy to create graphics on the fly. Every flyer and announcement connects to the brand story of digital disruption.
